About Me, I suppose…

Hello. Upon the odd flurry of new follower’s I’ve gotten in the past few months, I’ve decided it was time I did an “About Me” post. And, given my amount of followers, I’m guessing that about three people might read this. Get ready, strap yourself in, put on your safety goggles and wear something fire-proof. Here’s my about me:

The slightly interesting parts of me (non-anatomically speaking):

Hi. My name is Mark (Marco actually, but I prefer the “k”. It’s cooler). I am seventeen years old and enjoy art in all forms, though mostly through music, film and books. I am optimistic about the world as a whole, but a pessimist when it comes to myself, meaning I believe people are mostly good but I have low self-esteem and believe I won’t ever have a romantic relationship. But I’m working at not being so self-pitying about it. My dream place to live is Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I like to think of my life in terms of movie scenes or just one long take. It fluctuates. I’m a Christian, but not THAT kind of Christian. I’m a Christian that doesn’t care if you’re gay or straight or what religion you believe in. Just don’t hurt anybody and don’t be a dick are my two basic rules of being cool with me. The only things I really get political about are gay rights and weed and how both of them should so fucking obviously be legal and any dispute about it in this day and age is ridiculous. I am 85% straight and I believe Tumblr is one of mankind’s greatest creations. I have major crushes on/would marry Hayley Williams, Tina Fey, Jenna Fischer, Ellen Page, Zooey Deschanel and Lizzy Caplan. I like to dress fanciful yet casual. I think the Killers Hot Fuss is one of the greatest, most perfect albums to have ever been.
I want to be a writer/director and am working at it. Moderately skilled at playing guitar, can barely play piano. I have a really fucked up sleep schedule and have no social life whatsoever. I can easily be classified as a hipster and I am a nerd in the truest sense that I get extremely excited to see things I love (i.e. anything Scott Pilgrim related, a Doctor Who preview on TV, seeing a great shot/scene in a film). I have a fairly wide vocabulary and read many a book. If I see an attractive girl in real life, I stay as far away as possible.
